The Market is a Community project run by volunteers with the objectives of:

  • Making available a wide range of locally produced food
  • Supporting local food producers and businesses
  • Using the profits for supporting local charities and support groups.

The Committee meets once per month on a Wednesday evening, 10 days before the market. The committee includes:

New Volunteers

If you would like to get involved in any capacity then please email or speak to one of the volunteers at the market.

Help is needed to set up and clear up at the end as well help with promotion and administration tasks around the market.

New Ferry Community

Since we began distributing money we have given over £54,000 to local groups funding everything from sports kits to days out for the disabled. Click here for more information.

In addition the profits from the cafe go the local Grove Street School.
